Public engagement at Wichelstowe

As an experiment, on Sunday 18th April, some of our volunteers were at the jetty by Waitrose in Wichelstowe, to meet people, talk about the Trust and give out leaflets to those interested. Dragonfly was open for people to have a close-up look, though sadly we still cannot run any trips. Some 50 people, including a new skipper, came for a chat, so we have decided to continue our 'meet & greet gazebo' at weekends, and would love to see you there!

This will be subject to the availability of our volunteers, and at the mercy of the unpredictable British weather. We will try to keep you as updated as possible via our Facebook page, so do make sure to head on over and give us a follow if you haven't already. If you're in the area to visit Waitrose or Hall & Woodhouse, please do say hello if you see our gazebo up... if you are making a special trip just to talk to us, we recommend dropping us a message beforehand to check we will be there. Please continue to follow government guidance on social distancing when visiting.
